These beatiful little snakeheads will live together in a group or can be kept singly, - stunning in a planted aquarium.
This species is one of the favourite snakeheads for aquarist because of the colors that give it its common name. This species grows to 8 inches (20 cm), placing it in the informal group dwarf of snakeheads. Among these small snakeheads it is the only nestbrooder.

1)The aquarium condition suited for this fish should consit plants and rock where they can hide,just like in their natural habitat.
2)Generally snakeheads will consume anything,but it is better to feed them liveworms,pellets,babyfish,beefheart,dryfish pellets and frozen foods.
