Snakeheads (Expert From Assam)

Its been almost 17 years since i have been catching and keeping snakeheads as aquarium pets. This fish are very pretty and interesting to keep, one will always find something new.Snakeheads are very very hard fish, they can survive in almost any kind of water condition, which makes them very easy to maintain in an aquarium. The World's smallest species of Snakehead is known in the hobby as Channa Sp. assam. These beatiful little snakeheads will live together in a group or can be kept singly, - stunning in a planted aquarium.

This species is one of the favourite snakeheads for aquarist because of the colors that give it its common name. This species grows to 8 inches (20 cm), placing it in the informal group dwarf of snakeheads. Among these small snakeheads it is the only nestbrooder.
